Nov 19/07: In need of prayer. Alot on my mind... Praying for a couple of families which are in need of God's touch also. God is still good, even if circumstances suck. (not feeling overly poetic. lol)

Nov. 13/07: getting back to Ezekiel Chapters 1 -3. Reset focus...'moving forward' = "whatever" that's suppose to mean... lol

Nov 10: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Phil 4:6

Nov 8/07: ...not sure if doors are opening, or closing - My prayer is that I will be accepting of either scenario, and alert to recognize whatever direction I'm suppose to go. (Obedience!!! Haven't obtained it yet! LOL)

Nov 4/07: Praying for the Youth in our communities...Some of them seriously needing God's intervention within their lives (addiction, abuse, neglect, self-image, Peer pressure, lack of "Godly" teaching...and this list goes on!) and within their homes. Uplifting families in these days...

I Know

Mood:

I Know

I know the sin of independence
I struggle with it every day.
I know it’s contrary to my Lord’s will
So daily, for His help I pray.

I know the bondage of insecurities
They’ve slowed me down so much
I know the crippling effects of feeling inferior
And so daily I seek His touch!

I know that others don’t always perceive
And that so many times, it’s conclusions that they draw,
I know He sees much deeper though
Than the “shell” that fools them all!

I know He knows everything about me;
I know He feels the pain I feel,
I know He either ‘causes’ or ‘allows’ all things;
That He injures and that He heals.

I know that first I must be broken,
So He can mould me to His perfect design
I know He allows trials to come my way
So that He can shape and He can refine

I know the peace that He gives
It’s one true thing I can’t deny
And I’m reassured that when He’s finished
That what He makes, no man destroy.

And so right now, He’s not finished with me
My prayer: In my weakness, see me through
Don’t let me inhibit the Great Artist’s work,
But instead His will, I pray that I will do.
